In 2018, Little Mix parted ways with Syco Music and signed with RCA UK. The album's lead single, " Shout Out to My Ex" won British Single of the Year in 2017. In 2018, it became the longest charting album by a girl group inside the top 40 of the UK Albums Chart.

After becoming the first group to win the British version of The X Factor, the group signed with Syco Music in 2011. Jesy Nelson was also originally part of the group before she left in 2020.
